Voodoo Rhinehart returns from Phoenix, Arizona where the team made the gold bracket for the first time this season.

In game 1, the team faced Li'l Saints Gold, a team Voodoo lost to 5-6 in their last meeting in October 2020. Voodoo came out on top in this game, winning 5-3. Lindsay Ferguson pitched a complete game and had six strikeouts. California Lutheran University commit, Alex Nyberg, hit a home run in the 3rd inning, while Bellevue College commit, Christie Tadvick, went 3-3 at the plate, and Emily Gleeson scored three runs.

Game 2 was a back and forth affair where Voodoo came out on top 10-7 against Team Hustle. Pacific Lutheran University commit, Brooke Tilson, hit a double while Lizzie Tieskoetter came home three times.

Voodoo face E1 Prospects in the final game of pool play on Saturday. Voodoo had seven hits in the game. Emma Nagy pitched 3 2/3 innings with three strikeouts. The score ended in a tie 4-4, which sent Voodoo into the gold bracket on Sunday.

In game 1 on Sunday, Voodoo faced Li'l Rebels RC. The bats were hot, and Voodoo scored seven runs, coming away with the 7-2 victory. Nyberg, Tilson, and Kat Smith each had two hits in the game. Ferguson pitched a complete game, striking out four.

In the final game on Sunday, Voodoo lost a heartbreaker to Firecrackers AZ 6-8. After being down 0-5, Voodoo came back to take the lead 6-5, but it wasn't enough. Sydney Warren came off the bench to go 2-2 with a timely 3-run home run.
